The annual accounts were internally audited by Auditing Solutions Ltd on 31st May 2019.
The externally audited accounts were returned by the External Auditor on 16th September 2019.

There is one vacancy for a councillor at present (February 2020). The Formal Noice of Vacancy is available on the three Parish Council noticeboards in the bus sheletr at Idmiston, outside the shop at Porton and by the bus shelter in East Gomeldon. At the IPC meeting on 11 December 2017, the IPC Grant Policy was adopted. We are now able to offer small grants to local organisations. For conditions see our policy below.
A grant is any payment made by the Council to be used by an organisation for a specific purpose that will benefit the Parish, or residents of the Parish, and which is not directly controlled or administered by the Council. The Council awards grants, at its discretion, to Parish organisations which can demonstrate a clear need for financial support to benefit the Parish by:

The Horefield Residents Association (HRA) was formed on Wednesday 25 October 2017, and was unanimously voted in by residents attending the first meeting at the Memorial Hall. The Committee members are:
